Technical FAQs:
Why can't I get any signal (HSPDA, UMTS, GPRS)?
Move to a different location to detect a signal. WeROAM works best if you’re within a SMART GSM network covered area. Also, your laptop may be infected with a virus that causes the USB ports to malfunction and not detect the Data Card resulting in signal loss.
Where can I enjoy maximum speed?
A UMTS signal on GMM and other key City Smart network covered areas will normally give you up to 384 kbps. If you are located in a remote area, the GPRS signal will usually give you up to 56 kbps. It is recommended that you should be in a UMTS / HSDPA area to enjoy maximum speed.
Why am I getting disconnected after some time?
Disconnection occurs when the signal fades from your Data Card to the base station. This also occurs if you’re far off from the base station and signal levels are only reaching you marginally.
Can I use my WeROAM to send and receive SMS?
Not at the moment. Your WeROAM connection cannot send and receive SMS. Likewise, the international roaming service.
